Edelweiss Alpine Vodka

Edelweiss Alpine Vodka is produced by Destillerie Freihof in Lustenau, Vorarlberg, Austria — a family distillery established in 1885. Bottled at 40% ABV / 80 proof, this vodka is distilled from a blend of Austrian rye and spelt, then proofed with pristine Alpine spring water. No added sugar, no artificial flavors, no colorings. On the nose, lifted aromas of green apple, lemon zest, and a cool hint of fresh mint sit alongside a delicate grain character. The palate is supple and silky — opening with citrus and brioche, drifting through white chocolate and a soft nutty lift, finishing with a refreshing menthol touch. The edelweiss flower on the bottle is hand-embroidered in Lustenau and applied bottle-by-bottle, a detail that earned the brand recognition at the World Spirits Award (gold), International Wine and Spirit Competition (silver), and the London Spirits Competition. Brilliant in a clean martini, a vodka soda with a twist of grapefruit, or alongside cured fish and aged cheeses.
