Jumbo Time Garden Party Rose

Jumbo Time is a Los Angeles based natural wine project with a straightforward philosophy: minimal intervention, sustainable farming, and wine that is actually fun to drink. The Rose Garden is their Provençal style rosé, a blend of Grenache, Mourvèdre and Cinsaut sourced from vineyards in Monterey and Lodi. The Mourvèdre and Cinsaut are co-fermented together after harvest, then aged six months in neutral oak. The Grenache is kept separately in stainless steel until blending. Very little sulfur is added, which keeps the wine feeling alive and fresh. The color is pale pink. On the nose it is floral and delicate with notes of underripe strawberry, crisp green apple and a subtle hint of clove or cinnamon in the background. It is perfumed without being showy. On the palate it is bone dry, light bodied and crisp with clean acidity and a finish that is bright and refreshing. No sweetness, no heaviness, nothing in the way. Just an easy, honest glass of rosé.
