Most producers stop at plum wine. The Han goes further. Seoul Night is a distilled plum soju, which means all the fragrance of maesil comes through without any residual sweetness on the palate. The fruit is double-distilled to concentrate its floral and stone fruit character, then cold-filtered for a clean, smooth finish. The result is a spirit that smells like plum but drinks dry: delicate and aromatic on the nose, then composed and slightly austere on the finish in the best possible way. At 23% ABV it sits comfortably between the sessionable and the serious.
