Willett's iconic Pot Still Reserve, uncut, at cask strength — released just twice a year, around the spring and fall equinoxes. Wheated mash bill (65% corn, 20% wheat, 15% barley) barrelled at 115 proof and bottled at full strength without water. Twelve-plus years in Willett's Bardstown warehouses, then decanted into the pot-still-shaped bottle designed by the late Evan Kulsveen. Soft sweetness up front, rounded creamy body, then caramel, dark cherry, oak char and warm spice all turned up. A few drops of water opens up the fruit without softening the finish.
