Why we carry them

Judson & Moore is a Chicago distillery making bourbon and rye on Illinois grain. We carry their core trio because they're the most-honest example of a local whiskey we can put on the shelf — distilled, aged, and bottled here, with mash bills and batch numbers printed on every label. The three bottles · what's different about each

Bourbon — Mash: 73% yellow corn, 17% rye, 10% malted barley · 94 proof · Batch 4. Higher rye content than most bourbons; sweeter than a wheated bourbon, drier than a high-corn bourbon.
Red Corn Bourbon — Mash: 77.5% Bloody Butcher heirloom red corn (from Cow Creek Farms in Paxton, IL), 12.5% rye, 10% malted barley · 94 proof · Batch 5. The corn variety changes the entire profile — earthier, more savory.
Rye — Mash: 60% rye, 30% yellow corn, 10% malted barley · 94 proof · Batch 3. The flagship. Higher corn than a hot rye, so it reads balanced rather than spicy.

Why "94 proof" matters

All three Judson & Moore expressions land at 94 proof. That's not a marketing accident — it's the proof at which the distiller felt each whiskey was best, and they bottle there rather than dropping to 80 to widen margins or cranking to 110 for a harder-hitting label. It also means the three bottles compare directly: differences you taste are mash bill, not water.
