2020 Chateau Lamothe de Haux Cuvee Traditionelle

Forming a narrow strip on the right bank of the Garonne, the Cadillac appellation is undoubtedly one of the least known of the Côtes de Bordeaux. The wines here reveal fruity aromas and a beautiful roundness, a gift from Merlot, often dominant. In top form, the Première Cuvée of Château Lamothe de Haux offers a well-integrated approach, where everything seems to be in its place. Its fruity, woody notes and caressing palate have all the necessary assets to measure up to a mushroom risotto. A great pairing!
