Cava Antigua Almond Tequila Liqueur is built on a base of highland tequila from Jalisco, blended with wild almonds and bottled at 20% ABV. The distillery hand-selects agave from the red volcanic soil of the highlands, harvests piñas only after eight to ten years of maturity, and double-distills using ancestral techniques to produce a silky silver tequila that forms the backbone of this liqueur. Where many almond liqueurs lean entirely on sweetness, this one preserves the herbaceous, mineral character of the agave beneath the nut. Cava Antigua is a family-owned, boutique distillery working within a four-generation tradition of artisanal production, guided by the motto "Excelencia en Tequila." The iron-rich volcanic soil of the Jalisco highlands gives the agave its distinctive mineral backbone, and the extended maturation period ensures fuller sugars and deeper complexity before harvest.
