Maxico Mistico "Licor de Ven a Mi" Hibiscus Liqueur

$35.00
Maxico Mistico is a line of Mexican liqueurs from Casa Endémica, an acclaimed house of brands based in Guadalajara, crafted under Master Distiller Samuel Ruiz. The collection draws on shamanic and mystical Mexican traditions, translating centuries-old herbal healing techniques, long infusions, careful herb isolation, and precise ingredient extraction, into modern, approachable spirits that honor the country's folk-remedy heritage in every bottle. "Ven a Mi," meaning "come to me," is built on a sugarcane spirit base infused with hibiscus and elderberry flowers alongside a blend of traditional Mexican love herbs, using only natural flavors and colors throughout. Playfully positioned as a "lovers' elixir," meant to enhance luck in love, it's the brand's most juicy and tart expression. In the glass, expect a vivid, floral bouquet of hibiscus, elderberry, and ripe fruit punch. The palate opens with medium acidity and a soft, rounded body, floral and bittersweet, mirroring the emotional complexity it was designed to evoke, before finishing with a gentle, lingering sweetness. Bottled at a moderate 20-25% ABV depending on market, it's approachable enough for easy sipping while still carrying real botanical depth. It's a versatile addition to any home bar: delicious on its own over ice, mixed into a spritz with sparkling wine or soda, or shaken into a Tequila or mezcal cocktail, where its floral, tart hibiscus character adds a vibrant, romantic lift. A fun, culturally rooted way to bring a bit of Mexican folklore and botanical tradition to the glass.
