The Dupuy family has farmed the vineyards of Chateau Beausejour in Puisseguin-Saint-Emilion for four generations, cultivating without synthetic chemicals and increasingly embracing biodynamic principles. "Empreintes" (meaning "imprints" or "footprints") is their Vin de France white, a blend that typically brings together Semillon, Muscadelle, and Cabernet Blanc sourced from their holdings in Bergerac and the Cote de Castillon. The wine is made with natural yeasts, low-temperature fermentation to preserve aromatics, and no added sulfites. Pale gold in the glass with an inviting nose of pear, white peach, apple blossom, and gentle floral notes underpinned by a quiet minerality. The palate follows through with fresh orchard fruit, a touch of citrus, and a lively saline quality that keeps the wine bright and focused through the finish.
