Alexis Hudon 'Groslot' VdF Blanc 1L

A delightful oddity from the Loire. Alexis Hudon's Gros Lot Blanc is made from Grolleau Gris, a variety more commonly vinified as rosé, here reimagined as a still white under Vin de France. Pale and fresh with notes of white peach, citrus peel, and a gentle saline lift. Low-intervention, high-personality, and the liter format means more wine for less money. A great introduction to a forgotten grape from a producer doing interesting things in the Val de Loire. Natural wine curiosity at an honest price.
