Seven Hills Sauvignon Blanc Columbia Valley
$25.00
Founded in 1988, Seven Hills Winery is among the founding estates of the Walla Walla Valley and has spent nearly four decades making the case that Washington State belongs in serious conversations about American white wine. The Columbia Valley Sauvignon Blanc draws from a blend of 90% Sauvignon Blanc with small additions of Semillon, Muscadelle, and Orange Muscat, a nod to the classic white Bordeaux tradition that adds aromatic complexity and a touch of body to the wine's naturally bright frame. The fruit comes from select sites across the broad Columbia Valley AVA, where warm days and cool nights preserve the variety's characteristic aromatics while building genuine ripeness. Pale yellow with vivid green highlights. The nose is expressive and inviting, with tangerine, white grapefruit, lychee, kiwi, and gooseberry alongside honeysuckle, crushed stone, and a whisper of fresh herbs. On the palate it is medium-bodied and round with lively acidity, delivering flavors of D'Anjou pear, yellow peach, passionfruit, and lemon zest with a saline, mineral thread running through to the finish. The finish is clean, citrus-driven, and refreshing, with just enough length to keep you coming back. This is a versatile, crowd-pleasing white that earns its place on any table. Pour it with grilled asparagus, fresh Dungeness crab, oysters, goat cheese salads, or grilled fish.
