Villarini Grillo

Villarini Grillo is an organic white wine from Sicilia DOC, made from 100% Grillo, one of Sicily's signature native grape varieties, alongside Nero d'Avola one of the island's most celebrated indigenous grapes. The fruit is sourced from selected family-owned vineyards farmed without pesticides or herbicides, reflecting producer Icon Wines' focus on sustainability and authentic regional character at an accessible price point. In the cellar, the grapes are soft-pressed and fermented for 15 to 20 days at controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks, preserving freshness and varietal purity, then rests in steel until bottling. The result is a bright, aromatic white with notes of ripe melon, gooseberry, and fresh mint on the nose, moving into yellow fruit flavors of apricot and mango balanced by lively citrus and a touch of sea-kissed minerality echoing Sicily's coastal terroir.
