2023 Jakob Moise Spatburgunder 'Belmont'

akob Moise is a tiny estate farming little more than a hectare of vineyards in Ehrenstetten – the town just next door to Wasenhaus in Baden. A Biodynamic vineyard consultant by day – Jakob has access and the knowledge of the great vineyards and vines of the area, and after just two vintages we cannot be more optimistic to see what the future may bring. Jakob’s Pinots are one of a very light touch – little to no extraction, shorter elevagé, purity. Jakob farms many similar parcels to Wasenhaus – some on the famed Kaiserstuhl, Belmont and Kanzel. Jump in now – there will never be much quantity to be had.
